The Data Operations Manager is essential in maintaining accuracy, consistency, and efficiency across Arm Candy’s data management practices. This role works across all Pods and actively supports tagging, reporting, dashboards, data integration processes, and CYRIS data maintenance. A collaborative mindset and strong troubleshooting skills will ensure seamless operation and high-quality client deliverables.

This role reports to VP, Strategy & Product.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Onboarding and Process (20%)

  • Performs digital audits for client prospects, recording findings and making recommendations for optimizations across all digital channels and web properties
  • Conduct tagging audits as part of comprehensive media audits, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist with competitive spend data and MRI audience data pull to support media strategy
  • Support website tagging and troubleshooting across platforms for all clients
  • Generate naming conventions for Media Management and Ad Ops teams, lead partner agency creative file naming conventions training
  • Outputs:
    • Comprehensive media and tagging audit insights
    • Accurate and reliable tagging setup across client campaigns

Data Management Reporting (40%)

  • Ensures streamlined and accurate account access and tagging efforts are maintained across the agency
  • Manages data aggregation tools such as Funnel, BigQuery, etc. and assists in troubleshooting new or existing connection issues
  • Support strategy and development of internal and external dashboards across new and organic business
  • Lead existing dashboard revisions based on internal and external needs
  • Support ad hoc reporting for any of the Top 10 clients as it related to monthly reports or QBRs
  • Outputs:   
    • Timely and accurate reporting configurations
    • Fully functional dashboard tailored to client specification

Technology (CYRIS) Stewardship (40%)

  • Manages the on-going maintenance of CYRIS to ensure fresh updated data with QA check to ensure proper functionality.
  • Assists in training AC team members on functionality of current and future rollouts of CYRIS modules
  • Outputs:   
    • CYRIS data maintains high level of accuracy
    • AC team members feel confident using CYRIS

Qualifications

  • Must be located in DFW or willing to relocate
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree related to Data Analytics preferred
  • 3-5+ years of experience in tagging, data management, reporting, or analytics roles within digital advertising
  • Proficiency in Google Tag Manager, including creating tags, triggers, variables, and managing the data layer
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for custom tag implementation and troubleshooting
  • Experience with GA4, Funnel.io, MRI data, Google BigQuery, and Snowflake
  • Hands-on ad operations experience and previous experience / knowledge within the programmatic ecosystem is a plus
  • Outstanding analytical and project management skills. Extreme attention to detail and the ability to handle several projects concurrently under deadline pressure is essential 
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively with internal team members and external clients and other agency partners
