The Dallas Business Journal is pleased to announce the first group of companies for its 19th annual Best Places to Work Awards. The list of winners was whittled down from over 380 nominated companies. These companies had the highest employee survey scores among their peer companies in their size category.
Selected companies were divided into five size categories based on employee count. Today, the Business Journal is revealing the recipients in the Micro category. Rankings among these categories will be revealed at an event on Oct. 21.
MICRO (10-24 employees) category winners are being announced today.
SMALL (25-49 employees) category winners will be announced on Tuesday.
MEDIUM (50-249 employees) category winners will be announced on Wednesday.
LARGE (250-999 employees) category winners will be announced on Thursday.
EXTRA LARGE (1,000-plus employees) category winners will be announced on Thursday.
These companies rose to the top of their categories based on an indexed score created via employee responses to a survey conducted by Quantum Workplace.
Here are the 20 companies being honored in the Micro size category, in alphabetical order.

Winning companies will be honored and rankings for each category will be announced at an event on Oct. 21 at the Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West Hotel.
