Agency Takes Home Most Effective Integrated Marketing Campaign and Most Innovative Creative Content Awards
Arm Candy continued it’s 28-month hot streak by winning multiple honors last night at the Dallas Fort Worth Interactive Marketing Association (DFWIMA) Awards.
The second award of the evening, ‘Most Effective Integrated Marketing Campaign’, was (virtually) handed to team Arm Candy for their work done in tandem with agency partner, Commerce House, on behalf of client-partner, Shoebacca. Due to their collaboration with Commerce House and Arm Candy, Shoebacca saw 300% revenue growth in 2020, resulting in over a 5.x5 ROAS, helping land both agencies the honor.
The Arm Candy team was led by Kate Hamel, Media Manager, Sarah Bornstein, Media Associate, David Mahaffey, Director of Ad Ops and Kelsi Jiang, Ad Operations Manager.
Commerce House’s team was led by Lauren Howard, Project Manager, Michael Clark, Digital Marketing Strategist, and Ashley Watson, Principal.
“We could not be more proud of our work for Shoebacca. Helping fuel their fantastic growth was a 2020 highlight. The campaign results speak to the strength of the collaboration between the Arm Candy team and agency partners like Commerce House”David Mahaffey, Director of Ad Ops
Following their first award of the evening, ‘Most Innovative Creative Content Award’ soon followed suit. Arm Candy was simply a media vessel in this instance however, as their client, the Fan Controlled Football League (FCF) produced the fantastic assets that earned all the accolades.
Arm Candy served as the FCF’s Media AOR for their inaugural season, which led to football standouts, Johnny Manziel, Josh (Flash) Gordon and others, participating. The league also attracted other football players and celebrities such as Marshawn Lynch, Bob Menery, Renee Montgomery, Richard Sherman, Quavo Migos, Mike Tyson, Miro, and many more as team owners and investors.
“The first season of Fan Controlled football was as fun a client experience as you’re ever going to get. The team was able to produce so many quality assets with little to no turnaround time. We were stoked to see the results we were able to drive and we plan to carry this momentum into season 2”Molly Snyder, Director of Media
Arm Candy’s Fan Controlled Football team was led by Director of Media, Molly Snyder and colleague David Mahaffey, the agency’s Director of Ad Operations.
The latest award recognition at DFWIMA builds on the success Arm Candy received the previous year. In 2020, Arm Candy was awarded both Campaign of the Year and Most Effective Brand Awareness Campaign for campaigns executed on behalf of client partner, Sam’s Club. Arm Candy was also recently named the Most Effective Media Agency in North America by leading global advertising trade site The Drum and recognized as an NTX Inno Fire Award winner.
While “winning isn’t everything”, it certainly speaks to the success of team AC and the soundness of their client relationships, as they continue to grow. Arm Candy looks forward to taking their capabilities and partnerships to new heights; and as a result, hopefully, the winning doesn’t stop here.
